Job description

Female Personal Assistant required for woman in Little Stoke @ £11.88ph - 13.5hrs a week - Bristol - BS34

Personal assistant required for a disabled woman in Little Stoke, to support with daily living needs and general domestic and personal care duties, in her own home and in the community.

Hours:
13.5 hours a week - Regular working days on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Flexibility is required Monday - Friday to complete additional hours of support to take the employer to appointments when needed, some of which may be short notice.
Rate of pay: £11.88 per hour
Tasks include:
  1. Meal preparation with competent cooking skills
  2. Personal care
  3. Domestic care
  4. Social + leisure activities including support to access swimming services in the local community and supporting the client to take her 2 dogs out for walks.
  5. Support to remain independent
  6. Support to access appointments as needed (as additional hours)
Personal Qualities and Attributes Required:
The successful applicant will ideally hold a NVQ Level 2 qualification in health and social care or possess relevant experience for the role.

The successful applicant must have a current, clean driving license (own car is not required). The employer is a wheelchair user and will provide their own car for the PA to drive. Therefore, the PA must be able to drive a larger vehicle or be willing to learn.

The successful applicant will need to like dogs and be prepared to support with taking her pets out to the park. The employer is looking for a PA who is reliable, with good communication and social skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday:
1 hour in the morning (8am - 9am or 8:30 - 9:30am)
2 hours in the afternoon (4pm - 6pm or 5pm - 7pm)

Tuesday:
7.5 hours morning and afternoon (10am - 5:30pm)

Wednesday:
3 hours in the morning to support the employer to go swimming (8:30am - 11:30am)

Thursday & Friday:
No regular working hours; however, availability is desirable to be able to pick up additional shifts to support the employer to access appointments ad hoc.
