Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  1. Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to fabricate components according to specifications.
  2. Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up and programme machines accurately.
  3. Assemble parts and components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
  4. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  5. Utilise hand tools and basic maths skills to measure and verify dimensions of finished products.
  6. Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products.
  7. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a CNC Operator or Machine Operator within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  2. Familiarity with tooling, fabrication processes, and logic controllers is advantageous.
  3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD designs effectively.
  4. Experience with welding techniques is a plus, but not essential.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
  6. A background in using hand tools and understanding basic mathematics will be beneficial for daily tasks.
