EL/PL Lawyer

Our client is an excellent firm based in Manchester who are currently seeking an experienced EL/PL Lawyer to join their team specialising in managing a caseload of EL/PL, Highways Act, and Product Liability claims. The role will also involve some higher-value RTA work when necessary although the successful candidate will not need experience in this area.

As an EL/PL Lawyer, you will:

1. Manage a caseload of non-motor claims, ranging from fast track to multi track value.
2. Handle new instructions alongside some transferred existing files.
3. Be self-sufficient for routine matters, with administrative support available.
4. Work within a supportive team, receiving supervision but also expected to work independently.
5. Participate in training and potentially assist with the development of less experienced team members.

The ideal candidate:

1. A Solicitor or Legal Executive, ideally with 4-6 years' experience handling a non-motor caseload.
2. Able to work towards targets and manage a diverse range of non-motor claims.
3. Interested in working in an in-office environment and training and developing junior team members.
