Job description

This role isn't just about content—it's about performance. You'll need a deep understanding of social media's role in customer acquisition, how to scale paid social budgets (£1M+ annually), and how to use attribution models to optimise performance.

You might be brand-side, having led social for a fast-growing company, or agency-side, managing large-scale social campaigns. Either way, you'll bring the strategic thinking, creative vision, and analytical mindset needed to drive both engagement and conversions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Social Media Strategy: Own and execute Hertility's organic and paid social strategy, ensuring alignment with overall growth and brand objectives.
  • Customer Acquisition & Attribution: Use data-driven insights and attribution models to measure the impact of social on customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Content & Creative Strategy: Develop high-performing social content, leveraging UGC, influencers, video, and production to drive engagement and sales.
  • Paid Social Management: Lead multi-million-pound paid social campaigns, optimising budgets across platforms for efficiency and impact.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Growth (your direct report) and Head of Brand to integrate social into the wider marketing strategy.
  • Influencer & UGC Activation: Identify and activate influencers, creators, and UGC to drive brand reach and credibility.
  • Innovation & Experimentation: Stay ahead of algorithm changes, social commerce, and emerging trends, constantly testing and iterating.

We're growing and this role is fast-paced so there will occasionally be other tasks you'll be responsible for that may not be covered by this list.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

You'll thrive if you're passionate about fertility and reproductive health and bring:

  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years in social media marketing, with hands-on experience in both organic and paid social. Strong understanding of marketing acquisition, attribution models, and customer journey mapping across social channels.
  • Social Media Expert: Deep knowledge of content formats, platform algorithms, and creative best practices. Experience with influencer marketing, UGC, and creative production to maximise social impact.
  • Budget Experience: Proven track record of managing paid social budgets of £1M+ annually.
  • Data Driven: Ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Confidence: Passionate about exceeding expectations and is a confident, results-driven self-starter.
  • Team Work: A collaborative approach is required in this role!
  • Organisation: Excellent time management and prioritisation skills. A great communicator is a must!
  • Solution Led: A solution-oriented approach—when you see something not working, you will flag it and be part of the solution!
  • Adaptability: Experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Women's Health: Passion for women's health and breaking taboos in the space.
