Year 5 Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive team at a vibrant school. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students, helping them develop their academic and personal skills in a crucial stage of their primary education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring that all children are challenged, motivated, and supported to reach their full potential. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Education or a related subject.
• Experience or enthusiasm for teaching Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
