Job Summary

As an HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all people-related issues, providing support and guidance throughout the employee journey. Your responsibilities will include advising, guiding, and coaching managers on HR best practices; supporting employee relations, performance management, and exit processes; managing HR systems and reporting to ensure accurate management reporting and system updates; contributing to broader HR initiatives and supporting the delivery of our people and culture strategy; providing HR administrative support and service, including continuous improvements and process enhancements; managing absence data reporting and Occupational Health provision; and ensuring alignment across UK sites on policies, processes, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in key operations meetings and advise management on the employee relations impact of operating decisions.
  • Work with HR Shared Service functions to deliver site business goals across recruitment, L&D, reward, and recognition.
  • Support annual processes such as pay review and profit share.
  • Guide and advise line management on compensation and benefits issues.
  • Act as a super-user on HR systems (Workday and Autotime), resolving employee queries and supporting HR technology projects.
  • Ensure compliance with employee background screening and associated requirements.
  • Deliver HR induction for new employees.
  • Coordinate work experience and associated procedures for the site.
  • Ensure compliance with regular audits, including BSi and other customer/HMRC/Home Office audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CIPD Level 3 and working towards Level 5 or above (desirable).
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in an HR Administrator/Advisor/Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems (experience with Workday beneficial but not essential).
