Senior Consultant - UK Civil Engineering

Are you a Setting out Engineer looking for a move?

Our client:

James Gray Recruitment is working with a leading construction and civil engineering contractor who are looking to add a Setting out Engineer to their team based in Argyll and Bute.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Setting out and surveying for civil engineering and construction works on site.
2. Working closely with the project team to ensure all technical aspects of the project are understood and executed according to design specifications.
3. Ensuring quality control and health & safety standards are adhered to throughout the project.
4. Liaising with subcontractors and providing technical support when needed.
5. Maintaining accurate site records, including drawings, measurements, and reports.
6. Assisting in planning and managing daily activities on-site to meet project deadlines.

What you’ll need to be successful:

1. Proven experience in setting out for construction or civil engineering projects.
2. Knowledge of site health and safety regulations.
3. Strong communication and organisational skills.
4. Degree or relevant qualification in civil engineering or equivalent.
