Whether to meet ESG regulations, conduct risk assessment or screen new suppliers, Interu offers a streamlined, secure approach to supply chain data management.

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our team and drive the growth of Interu by building strategic relationships, securing new clients, and expanding our footprint across SME and Enterprise businesses. The role requires a mix of strategic selling, relationship management, and SaaS expertise.

This is an opportunity to lead the sales function, define processes, and shape the future of sales/business development at iov42. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, hands-on sales professional who enjoys working with clients, managing complex sales cycles, and thrives in an evolving start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, with a focus on SMEs and Enterprises needing traceability solutions for compliance with regulations such as EUDR, UK Forest Risk Commodities, and the US FOREST Act.
  • RFP/RFQ Management & Proposal Development: Lead the company’s responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from potential clients, including:
    • Coordinating cross-functional input from Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Legal teams to ensure compelling and compliant proposals.
    • Developing and refining proposal templates to streamline the response process and improve efficiency.
    • Tracking and managing deadlines, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals that align with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
    • Customising responses to address specific business and technical requirements outlined in RFPs/RFQs.
    • Engaging with procurement teams and decision-makers to clarify requirements and position Interu competitively.
    • Post-submission follow-ups, tracking outcomes, gathering feedback, and iterating on the RFP/RFQ process for continuous improvement.
  • Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Present our company and demonstrate Interu to key decision-makers, tailoring the messaging to different client needs.
  • Deal Closing & Commercial Negotiation: Own and drive deals from lead generation to close, negotiating contract terms and pricing structures.
  • Account & Relationship Management: Establish and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing contract renewals.
  • Market & Competitor Research: Stay updated on market trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings to position Interu effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities in our CRM (FreshSales) and provide regular reports on performance and forecasting.
  • Process & Strategy Development: Help establish scalable sales processes, playbooks, and best practices as we grow the business development function.

Candidate requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in SaaS technology sales, consulting, or enterprise sales environments, with a proven track record of closing deals and managing client accounts. Alternative industry experience such as sustainability is welcomed.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
  • Experience selling to supply chain, compliance, or procurement teams, particularly in industries facing deforestation-linked regulations.
  • Confident communicator and negotiator who can engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude, able to understand and articulate the value of Interu without relying heavily on technical colleagues.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (FreshSales preferred) for sales tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken); French, German or Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences as required.
