About the Role:

Welcome to The B-Hive, an award-winning in-house creative and production agency that brings some of the most recognized beauty and cosmetics brands to life, including Boots' own brand, No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle, Sleek, and Botanics.

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join the design team, based in Nottingham. Working at the heart of the B-Hive, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business to deliver a variety of creative design elements. You will be working on Boots streams of work, which can include anything from emails and web pages to social media content. You'll create engaging, high-quality work, designing for a wide range of digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create a wide range of assets for Boots, working across beauty, health, pharmacy, and wellness, following Boots style guidelines and tone of voice.
2. Take design briefs from concept to completion for a wide range of assets.
3. Be innovative and take creative control over given briefs.
4. Work within different brand styles, ensuring each piece aligns with the correct look and feel for each client or campaign.
5. Work as part of the wider B-Hive team to ensure consistency of quality and deliver to deadline.

What You'll Need to Have:

1. Able to demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
2. At least 2 years design experience either in an agency or in-house.
3. A strong eye for visual composition.
4. Graphic Design Degree or similar creative education or experience.
5. Confident using the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe XD; other creative skills are desired but not essential.
6. A desire to work within a team, giving and receiving constructive feedback and direction.
7. A keen interest in retail, specifically the beauty and health industry.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have (But Not Essential):

1. Illustration experience.
2. Experience using After Effects.
