Our client is an independent research and insights consultancy with a focus on geopolitics, researching and investigating fragile states, opinion on the ground, and how current affairs affect everyday people and how governments communicate with them.
This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious, detail-oriented person with a strong interest and cultural understanding of the Africa region and experience in preparing and delivering information and analytical research products.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a top security project which integrates multiple data streams including opinion research, media monitoring, open-source insights, and qualitative research. The work covers some of the most important contemporary issues (security, democracy, development, defense etc.); this role will suit people with interests in international politics and backgrounds in research.
Candidates will grow and develop their research and intelligence expertise and there is some potential for foreign travel. Candidates must be resident in the UK or have the right to live and work in the UK.
This role is based in the Central London office 3 days per week with the other two days at home, if desired and is initially offered as a 1-year contract with the likelihood of going permanent at the end.
