Job Title: CNC Miller

Location: Derbyshire

Shift: Days OR Permanent Nights.

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (Shift Dependant)

The Company:

The company is a well-established precision component manufacturer which operates in multiple sectors including aerospace and Defence.

CNC Miller Role:

Due to the continued growth, the company is now recruiting for multiple CNC Millers across a range of shifts, due to continued growth and expansion of the current facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. CNC Setting and operating.
2. Reading and working from engineering drawings.
3. Working to tight tolerance and using quality measuring tools to check work.
4. Working independently whilst maintaining standards and project requirements.
5. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining CNC machine and all associated equipment and machining area.

Previous Experience:

1. Previous experience in a similar CNC Milling role to a setter operator level with advanced skills including part programming.
2. Experience working with Multi-Axis Milling machines.
3. Experience on Siemens or Fanuc Controls.
4. Experience in high precision manufacturing environment.
5. Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment such as verniers and callipers.
6. Previous experience machining plastics would be advantageous.
