What is the role?

To assist the Co-ordinator – Housing and the Team Leader – Sheltered Housing in the provision of an efficient and effective sheltered housing service.

The Grade of this post is Grade 1 / Level 4, the hourly rate is from £13.78 to £14.09 the annual salary is from £10,849 to £11,093.

The post holder will be required to work 2 days each week:

  1. Thursday & Friday - 8am - 3.30pm
  2. Saturday & Sunday - 8am - 3.30pm

The post involves alternate weekend working.

The postholder will be required to attend and work on site at the sheltered housing unit each day.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
