Job description

A large company is looking for a General Manager to provide a service to a fast-moving manufacturing client.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage an 18 million budget.
  2. Engage with unions as essential.
  3. Build relationships with the team.
  4. Achieve operational performance as defined by customer contracts and KPIs.
  5. Meet financial targets for both customer and internal objectives.
  6. Ensure customer satisfaction and team member satisfaction (annual survey).
  7. Maintain a credible and up-to-date succession plan.
  8. Foster strong relationships with customers at all levels.
  9. Drive business excellence and organic growth.
  10. Oversee internal and external audits/accreditation.
  11. Conduct material flow audits.
  12. Deliver customer scorecards and successful model year and change programmes.

Qualifications:

  1. Manufacturing retail background is essential.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience.
  3. Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications.

The role is within a fast-moving manufacturing environment with a very demanding customer.
