FPGA Engineer

IC Resources are excited to be supporting a leading defence organisation based in Stevenage, who are looking to add an FPGA Engineer to their design team. This is a great chance to join a growing FPGA design team working on a variety of cutting-edge projects, including advanced signal processing, core embedded processing systems, and safety and security-critical systems. The role offers dynamic, hybrid working with 2-3 days on-site, as well as options for compressed or part-time hours, and relocation support for eligible candidates.

As an FPGA Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the FPGA design lifecycle, from initial requirements to validated design. This role offers the opportunity to influence designs, implement the latest technologies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using the latest tools from top FPGA vendors.

Looking for FPGA Engineers with the following Skills:

• Experience in FPGA design and architecture, with a strong understanding of VHDL and SystemVerilog.
• Proficiency in FPGA design toolsets and verification tools (QuestaSim, ModelSim).
• Verifying complex FPGA designs with VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM test-bench methodologies.
• Generating low-level software (C) for FPGA test and integration with embedded systems.
• Eligibility for security clearance (British citizenship or dual UK nationality may be required).
