Job Opportunity: SEN KS2 Teaching Assistant - Temporary

Position: Mon - Fri (Term-Time Only)

Hours: 10 AM - 2 PM

Are you passionate about empowering young people with complex needs to thrive? Academics Agency is seeking a dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school that supports pupils with a range of challenges, including ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, autism, SEMH, anxiety, and more.

The ideal candidate will bring energy, resilience, and a genuine commitment to nurturing excluded or challenging pupils who need positive role models to guide them through their education.

Your Role:

1. Provide essential support to pupils with diverse special educational needs, ensuring they feel secure and valued.
2. Assist in delivering tailored Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) and Behaviour Plans.
3. Build strong, trust-based relationships to engage students in learning.
4. Foster independence, inclusivity, and confidence among pupils.
5. Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive, effective classroom environment.
