In-House Solicitor (up to 4 years PQE)

Glasgow (fully on-site)

Full Time, Permanent

Are you a skilled Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity to work in-house for a market leader in the healthcare sector? If you’re seeking a role that combines complex legal work, professional growth, and a purpose-driven environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, engaging in a varied portfolio of legal matters, from medical malpractice claims to contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing a diverse caseload of pre-litigated and litigated claims with minimal supervision.
• Acting as a Panel Solicitor, handling discussions with insurers, external law firms, and party litigants.
• Providing clear and concise legal advice to key stakeholders, including Board members and insurers.
• Supporting the business in a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor (Scotland) with a current practising certificate from the Law Society of Scotland.
• Strong background in medical malpractice or personal injury litigation.
• Minimum 3 years PQE (although exceptional candidates with the right skills will be considered).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team.
• Excellent commercial awareness and strong IT and administrative skills.
• Willingness to research and advise on a wide range of legal issues.
