Job Role: Robot Welder
Location: Leicester
Shift: 07:00am to 5:15pm Mon to Thu
Pay Rate: £12.21 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience

As established manufacturer of machines parts for a range of different industrial sectors.

Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Robot Welder to join their team. As a Robot Welder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating robotic welding equipment to fabricate metal parts and products according to precise specifications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our welded products.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up, and operate robotic welding equipment to perform various types of welds on metal components
2. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols to determine the correct welding process
3. Monitor the welding process and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
4. Inspect welded parts for defects and measure accurate dimensions using precision instruments
5. Adhere to safety and quality standards while performing welding operations
6. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Robot Welder or similar role
2. Proficiency in operating robotic welding equipment and CNC systems
3. Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and blueprint reading
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
5. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to welding operations
