VerifyMy’s vision is to safeguard children and society online. We provide safety tech solutions to solve critical societal problems. We offer online platforms frictionless, trustworthy solutions to maintain their integrity, protect their reputation and safeguard their customers online. We do this by offering two solutions: verifymyage.com & verifymycontent.com to eradicate issues around both the supply and demand of online illegal content.

Your Impact:

As the CPTO at VerifyMy, you'll be at the epicentre of innovation and will be responsible for leading the product and technology strategy for the company. Balancing operational and strategic activities, you will partner with the MD, senior leadership team, and key stakeholders to drive growth, enhance the customer experience, and ensure that our tech and product strategies align with business objectives and deliver effectively. This includes overseeing the development, execution, and evolution of our product roadmap, technological innovations, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shaping the Product and Tech Vision: Leading the strategic vision for the company’s products and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy and market opportunities.
2. Leadership Development: Mentoring the senior leadership within the product and tech teams, ensuring they are empowered to make key decisions while you maintain overall accountability for the vision and results.
3. Operational Excellence: While not directly managing day-to-day tasks, you will provide support to ensure the successful execution of product launches, iterations, and technical enhancements.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration: Ensuring that product and technology teams work cohesively together and with sales, marketing, and customer success to meet business and customer objectives.
5. Product & Tech Innovation: Working closely with the Heads of product and Chief Architect to keep the team at the forefront of industry trends, technology advancements, and customer needs, ensuring that the company remains competitive and innovative.
6. Strategic Communication: Regularly updating stakeholders, including the MD, board members, and the rest of the Leadership team, on progress against key goals and product/technology performance.

Your toolkit:

1. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
2. Strategic Thinking: Ability to shape long-term product and technology strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of modern tech stacks, cloud infrastructure, and best practices in software development and architecture (Specifically: GCP, K8S, JS, NodeJS, GoLang, Python).
4. Product Management: Proven experience managing end-to-end product lifecycles, from concept to execution. Experience with agile methodologies is essential.
5. Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve complex product and technical problems that enhance user experiences and meet business goals.
6. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business.
7. Analytical Mindset: Experience with data-driven decision-making, using analytics and KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
