Job description

Project Manager – Sustainable Building

Home » Residential » Investment Developing » Project Manager – Sustainable Building

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 plus package

Location: Caterham, Surrey

Region: Surrey

Experienced Project Manager required for a privately owned developer based in Surrey with projects throughout England.

This role is pre-construction, and it will involve delivering the pre-construction works on a number of schemes that are up to £6m in value. The schemes will be a mixture of residential and holiday park extensions, with the aim of building carbon neutral dwellings to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint.

The role will involve running the sites from the office/home, focusing on the design stage by conducting cost appraisals, planning appraisals, and programme appraisals to ensure everything is ready for the main contractor to begin work. You will monitor the project as it is built, ensuring discussions occur if the contractor deviates from the appraisals and plans created. This is what I would describe as an “arms length” pre-construction project management role that would likely suit someone with client-side or consultancy experience.

The projects will be an exciting mix of residential housing sites and holiday homes on holiday parks that will be carbon zero and energy positive, providing self-sustainable homes throughout the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, innovative company that provides energy-efficient, sustainable homes and holiday parks.
