Top Boutique Hedge Fund / Proprietary Trading firm is looking for a COO to oversee all activities outside of portfolio management. It's a hands-on role at a small but outstanding team with exceptional pedigree.

Role

• Collaborate with the founder to develop and implement the firm’s strategic vision and business plan.
• Manage all aspects of the firm’s operations, including trading, legal, compliance, and risk management.
• Participate in onboarding of new counterparties.
• Collaborate with external auditors during year-end reporting.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies and best practices to enhance productivity.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure the firm adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions that enhance operational capabilities.

Profile

• A proactive, results-oriented approach with a drive to be a business partner to the founder.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently under pressure, and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the hedge fund industry or investment management, with a strong operational background.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to transparency and accountability.
