Your new role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Mackay Branch, we are looking for a Tradies, General Hand, Building Maintenance, who is a good team player with a customer-centric attitude to join our team and support branch hire activities in the hire yard.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Confident operation of large forklifts to load/unload materials and buildings
2. Prepare, clean and pack buildings to hire standards
3. Processing paperwork of the installation & return of hire assets via the operations construction process
4. Stock takes of assets as required
5. Ensure all customer requests for service are handled promptly and in a professional manner
6. Prepare hire buildings for transit
7. Unpack and test run/clean ancillaries when buildings are returned from hire

What you will bring to the role:

1. Experience in maintenance and repair of building structures (desirable)
2. Large forklift experience and a forklift license
3. Open Driver's license
4. White Card
5. Excellent customer focus with a professional phone manner and presentation
6. Solid attention to detail and numeric skills
7. Strong communication skills with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
8. Great interpersonal skills and a solid team player with the ability to work autonomously
