Bennett & Game Recruitment are working with a well-established, industry-leading consultancy providing comprehensive solutions in transport planning, highways scheme design, drainage, and environmental planning. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Graduate / Assistant Transport Planner to join their dynamic team in Fleet.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop a career in transport planning. You will gain experience in preparing technical reports, conducting transport assessments, and using specialist software to support a range of development projects. Working closely with senior team members, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans.
2. Assist with Travel Plan coordination and reporting.
3. Analyse and interpret transport data to support project delivery.
4. Undertake junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities.
6. Support Team Leaders in delivering transport and highways advice.
7. Undertake site visits and surveys, contributing to feasibility studies and reports.
8. Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with other traffic/transport-related tasks as required.

Education & Experience:

1. Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related subject.
2. Understanding or experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
2. Good numerical skills and experience working with spreadsheets.
3. AutoCAD experience (desirable).
4. Understanding or experience with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
