Job description

Assistant Lecturer in Human Geography, Loughborough University, UK

Fixed-term for 2 years commencing on 1 February 2014 (or as soon as possible thereafter); salary range £28,132 to £36,661.

The Department of Geography, which sits with the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences, seeks to appoint an assistant lecturer in human geography from 1 February 2014.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to teaching on a range of modules, including postgraduate taught modules.
  2. Supervise dissertation students.

Qualifications:

  1. PhD in Human Geography.
  2. Experience of the academic environment.
  3. Emerging research profile.
  4. Expertise in economic, political, or urban geography is an advantage.
