We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Social Science Teacher to join a good mainstream secondary school in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified educator to teach Social Sciences, including Sociology and Psychology, across Key Stages 4 and 5 within a supportive school environment focused on academic excellence and student well-being.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will deliver Social Science subjects, with a primary focus on Sociology and Psychology, to students at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will also contribute to curriculum development within the Social Sciences department, sharing best practices and innovative teaching approaches.
