Housebuilder Assistant Buyer – Worcester

Salary: Up to £30,000 + Package

If so, you're bound to be interested in this Assistant Buyer role with a housebuilding industry leader who is seeking an experienced Buyer to join the team due to significant growth and investment in the Worcester area.

The primary role will be to support the existing team, focusing on the ordering and procurement of various materials for multiple developments. The successful candidate will assist with various other duties within the buying team and report directly to the Commercial Director.

Buyer Requirements:

• Numerate, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets.
• Excellent IT literacy.
• Ability to prepare procurement duties and exercises.
• The ability to schedule and place material and plant orders while maximising quality and efficiency in cost.
• Produce schedules for material enquiries.
• Stay informed of new materials on the market that could help the business.
• Experience in a similar role or with a housebuilder will put you at a significant advantage.

The salary for the Assistant Buyer is paying up to £30,000, plus benefits and a package.
