Job Title: Senior Consultant / Manager – Strategy & Commercial Excellence

We are looking for:

  • People with direct experience in the energy industry.
  • Minimum 5 years’ collective experience in strategy; pricing & propositions; commercial finance; or a combination of these areas.
  • Experience in energy retail with a focus on commercial acumen rather than formal finance qualifications.
  • Experience in modelling customer lifetime value; developing a commercial strategy; understanding payback on retention campaigns; or the economics of solar panels and battery installations.
  • A natural curiosity and ability to identify future challenges or opportunities in the market.

We are recruiting for a specialist Senior Consultant / Manager. This is a client-facing role with expected travel/mobility, though there may be less travel than in other lines of business. Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted client advisor and partner.
  • Lead and implement significant strategic decision-making, problem-solving, planning, and client solutions.
  • Leverage industry-wide challenges and opportunities for client benefit.
  • Lead and implement transformational change in a project environment.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of direct experience in the energy sector.
  • Passionate about high-quality output with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Commitment to continuous personal development.

Location: Hybrid, with some travel required to client sites and Nottingham Head Office.

Hours: Flexible working hours available, accommodating part-time and variable hours.

Total Package: Competitive salary between £80k - £95k, including bonus, private medical, pension, and up to 33 days of holidays (increasing with length of service).
