English literature teacher Job in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

I am recruiting for a school based in RCT which has a caring and inclusive environment to encourage the development of both pupils and staff. Your new role: Starting ASAP, you will work as a part of a successful department made up of specialist teachers and will be responsible for:

  1. Teaching KS3 and KS4 English.
  2. Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.
  3. Actively taking part in departmental meetings.
  4. Pastoral duties including parent's evenings.

What you'll need to succeed: You must hold QTS - TEFL or ESOL teachers are not suitable unless also possessing a PGCE in English. You will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience of teaching within a secondary school or college.

  1. Hold a valid PGCE.
  2. Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  3. A commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
  4. Up-to-date EWC registration.
