Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: Cannock

Salary: £18 p hour to £20 p hour + Overtime (OTE £65,000+) + Van

NEOS Engineering are currently working with one of the UK’s largest plant manufacturers who are looking for a Plant Fitter. They specialize in heavy plant equipment all across the world and are seeking a mobile plant fitter based in Cannock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Fitter who has experience working on construction machinery but wants more overtime and responsibility.

The ideal Plant Fitter is a candidate who has their NVQ or equivalent in plant mechanics to carry out service, maintenance, and repair of all types of construction plant machinery. The candidate will be confident working alone and able to think on their feet.

The day-to-day role of the Mobile Plant Fitter involves travelling across the Midlands for your employer, attending to machines that they have out on hire. The role can vary from routine services to breakdowns, and your responsibility is to get the customer's machine back up and running as quickly as possible.

The Role:

• Service, Maintenance & Repair of Heavy Plant Machinery at customer sites
• Covering a large patch across the Midlands
• Mechanical & Electrical repairs – diesel engines, hydraulic systems, diagnostics

The Candidate:

• Fully qualified in plant mechanics and maintenance
• Eager to receive overtime & progression
• Full Driving License
