  • Knowledge of Quality Systems and Procedures is beneficial.

Job description

Your new company
Over 150 years manufacturing top quality, exciting and innovative products on a global scale. They supply their products to a few sectors, including aerospace and marine. Due to growth, they have a requirement in the Materials Department.

Your new role
As Material Technologist, you will be part of the quality team. You will be included in the preparation and testing of material samples under evaluation, testing of production batches submitted to the laboratory, assisting the Materials Technologist in dealing with the calibration of internal lab equipment, and undertaking a range of weekly routines as well as documentation to assist in the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the lab.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have practical experience of working in a Materials Technology, Manufacturing, or Laboratory environment in a technical-related role. You will have a working knowledge of Quality Systems and Procedures, excellent IT & communication skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. If you have a degree (or equivalent) in a Materials/Science related discipline, that would be a real benefit, but it is not essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills.
