(Senior) 3D Character Artist - 12-Month Contract

Join a team renowned for pioneering imaginative, award-winning games! As a (Senior) 3D Character Artist, you’ll work with a talented Art team to create captivating, stylized characters for our latest, ambitious project. Based in our newly upgraded Guildford studio, this contract position is ideal for a character artist with a flair for creativity and a dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Art team to craft detailed, stylized characters and creatures, ensuring alignment with the project’s art style and quality standards
2. Handle character asset creation and manage the character modeling pipeline
3. Contribute to character production, tools, and pipeline development to support efficiency and quality

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience in creating AAA-quality, stylized character art
2. A portfolio showcasing character design sketches with a strong sense of character and appeal
3. Proficiency in Blender for sculpting stylized characters and creatures
4. Excellent knowledge of character design, art, and culture
5. Advanced skills in Adobe Substance and experience with character animation are advantageous
6. Ability to translate 2D concepts into 3D with accuracy and flair
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently as needed
