Flowon AI is at the forefront of Agentic Voice AI, transforming the way businesses interact with customers and automate workflows through intelligent, real-time voice agents. Our platform integrates seamlessly with business applications, CRMs, and telephony systems, enabling AI-driven communication layers that handle customer interactions and automate critical tasks.

We are an early-stage startup tackling one of the most exciting frontiers in AI—Voice AI with deep business integration. As we scale, we’re looking for a Founding Engineer to take the lead in shaping our engineering team, product architecture, and technical vision.

The Role:

As our Founding Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and building the core systems that power Flowon AI’s voice automation platform. You’ll lead a team of four developers, guiding them in executing complex technical challenges while ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our AI-driven communication stack.

This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI applications, from LLM-based conversational agents to real-time voice processing and backend integrations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Architect & Build: Design and implement the core infrastructure for our Agentic Voice AI system, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Lead & Mentor: Manage and mentor a small team of engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and execution.
• Voice AI & LLM Integration: Work on integrating LLMs, speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for natural and human-like voice interactions.
• Real-time Processing: Optimize real-time voice agent performance with low-latency architecture and efficient API calls.
• Tooling & Integrations: Develop integrations with third-party services, CRMs, telephony providers, and automation tools.
• Scalability & Infrastructure: Make key decisions on cloud architecture, microservices, and DevOps to ensure a smooth-running, scalable platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the founder, growth team, and early customers to iterate quickly and find product-market fit.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in software engineering, with a track record of building scalable systems.
• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and/or Node.js.
• Experience with LLMs, NLP, or speech processing technologies.
• Familiarity with real-time voice processing, WebRTC, Twilio, or similar telephony APIs is a plus.
• Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers.
• Proficiency in working with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean), databases (PostgreSQL, Redis), and DevOps best practices.
• Ability to move fast, ship features, and iterate based on user feedback.
