We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that sales targets are met while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
2. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
4. Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement skills.
5. Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on sales trends and operational efficiency.
6. Manage staffing levels, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
8. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Skills

1. Proven experience in sales management within a retail environment.
2. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
4. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions.
5. Proficient in administrative tasks including inventory control, scheduling, and reporting.
6. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiarity with retail management software is beneficial.
8. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £18,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
