Job description

Access Talent Group are recruiting for a complete Transport planning and infrastructure design consultancy. They offer unique end-to-end service – guiding clients from pre-acquisition feasibility analysis through the planning process to on-site implementation and ongoing monitoring. Working with private and public sector clients, they are currently looking to bring in a Senior/Principal Transport Planner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies for various civil engineering projects.
  2. Producing transport planning reports and technical notes.
  3. Communicating technical concepts to colleagues and clients.
  4. Managing project budgets and financial monitoring.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Relevant university degree or apprenticeship.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role.
  3. A proven track record in delivering successful projects on time and to budget.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Excellent standard of written English, particularly in report writing.
  6. Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  7. High level of competence in the use of MS Office products (including Excel and Word).
  8. Experience of working with Junctions 9/10, TRICS, and TEMPRO.
  9. Knowledge of government transport policy and guidelines.
  10. Understanding of the principles of transport planning.
  11. Ability to work unsupervised.
  12. Excellent time and budget management skills.
  13. Experience using LINSIG and interpreting results.
  14. Experience using AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
  15. Masters Degree in Transport or Relevant Subject.
  16. Professional Membership of an appropriate institution (e.g., MCIHT).

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum
