Qualified Finance Manager

Iconic brand in the Hull region are seeking a Finance Manager to join the team

Open to reduced hours (4 days per week). Hybrid working.

Job Description

1. Process intercompany transactions
2. Review and sign off balance sheet reconciliations ensuring audit trail, older items are actioned and cleared
3. Lead and manage the banking team and related activities for all associated companies working closely with Treasury team re foreign currency requirements/processes
4. Lead and manage a team to produce month end results within the deadlines including revenue recognition, correct cost allocation, capex and maintenance spend etc
5. Statutory Accounting at half year and full year and subsequent support/queries working with Group Finance and external auditors
6. Tax reporting e.g. monthly VAT returns, CSL/CSR returns
7. Ensure production of regional management account reports including completion of Monthly Board reports and Quarterly business reporting, analysis, fully review and meaningful commentary
8. Lead, motivate, develop and support the management accountants and assistant management accountants

The Successful Applicant

1. Qualified accountant with experience of leading, motivation and managing a team

1. Good communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
2. Ability to drive and lead change initiatives
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
4. Skills in planning and organising, decision making, negotiation and time management
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to forge strong working relationships
