Client Role Summary: seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Consultant who has specialised in Contract Solutions to join our team. As a Recruitment Consultant specialising in Contract, you will play a pivotal role in developing the business’s Contract Solutions offering.
You will identify potential clients, guiding them through the process and selling our contract services and solutions, as well as attracting, and placing top-tier candidates with those client companies.
This position requires a proactive, fast paced approach to recruitment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the contract/freelance recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their contract hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to match those needs.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase our contract services, solutions and capabilities.
Candidate Sourcing and Assessment:
- Utilise a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify potential contract candidates.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to determine their suitability for open contract positions.
- Conduct thorough reference checks and background screenings as required.
Candidate Placement:
- Match candidates with suitable job openings and present them to clients.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including interview coordination, job offers, payroll solution options and negotiations.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Understand the need to have continuous client and candidate engagement post placement and during the entirety of the contract to develop further contract opportunities.
- Maintain a strong candidate relationship and ensure candidates follow the correct payroll process, so payments and client invoicing are made in a timely fashion.
Market Research:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
- Identify and grow emerging talent pools and market opportunities.
Performance Metrics:
- Set and achieve recruitment targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate and client interactions in our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the contract/freelance recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping candidates and clients succeed.
