More about the role & team

Are you an experienced .NET Software Engineer with a passion for modern Microservices Architecture? Join our UK-based Style Analytics development team and play a key role in shaping the future of our flagship cloud-based Enterprise application.

In this role, you'll be designing, developing, and testing new software components, working primarily on back-end technologies with occasional front-end involvement. If you enjoy a blend of hands-on development and DevOps engineering, this position is a great fit.

What skills and experience do I need to succeed?

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive C#/.NET experience
• Experience of modern development technologies and techniques including Agile, Continuous Integration, Build pipelines, Test-Driven Development
• Extensive AWS experience (CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, AMI, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, EC2, S3, Lambda)

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Good UI skills like: JavaScript/jQuery/HTML5/CSS
• Experience in React
• TypeScript/Node.js experience
• Good Web Service skills including ASP.NET Web API
• MS SQL knowledge: T-SQL

Domain experience in the financial sector in areas such as Investment Management, Investment Analytics or with an equity data provider is beneficial, but not essential.

You may have worked as a ‘Senior Software Engineer’, ‘Software Developer’, ‘Principal Software Engineer’, or even a 'DevOps Engineer' if you also have good back-end development experience.
