Our client, a leading engineering company in the renewables and oil & gas sectors, is currently seeking a skilled FE Structural Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be involved in the design and analysis of complex offshore structures for renewable energy projects, specifically focusing on offshore wind farm installations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performing Structural Analysis tasks using finite element standard structural analysis software, such as ANSYS, or other relevant offshore structural engineering analysis software.
2. Conducting detailed design calculations in accordance with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
3. Preparing analysis results and reports, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of project activities.
4. Adhering to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, following company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

1. Significant experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), specifically in the design and analysis of offshore structures.
2. Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as STAAD, ANSYS, and ABAQUS.
3. Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
4. Aptitude for problem-solving and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
