Asphalt Plant Operator

Join The Green Team at our Christchurch Asphalt Plant and take your career to the next level! We’re on the lookout for a full-time Plant Operator to be part of a tight-knit crew that produces up to 1,250 tonnes of asphalt daily using cutting-edge technology.

This is a full-time permanent role, working a minimum of 40 hours. Hours of work can vary to meet the needs of the business with early morning starts.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Prior plant operating experience is highly sought after; other relevant plant operating experience will be considered.
• Prior mechanical experience advantageous e.g., heavy diesel mechanic/plant maintenance.
• Class 1 full licence essential - WTR and Class 2 is beneficial.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong track record of commitment to health and safety.
