Salary: £29,000

A starting salary of up to £29,000
4 Day working week

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain Salvagnini CNC machine to cut and form steel door skins
Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders to determine machine settings
Adjust machine parameters to achieve precision cutting and shaping according to specifications
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
Conduct quality inspections to verify accuracy, consistency, and compliance with manufacturing standards
Troubleshoot minor issues with the machine and escalate complex problems to the maintenance team
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following health and safety regulations
Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and workflow
Keep accurate records of production output and machine performance
Adhere to all Company policies

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 - 7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
A recognised time-served apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, along with either NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
Previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a metal fabrication environment
Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine setup (experience with Salvagnini machines is an advantage)
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
