Are you self-motivated and organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build outstanding relationships with your team as well as on-site customers?

If so, you should apply for our position of Area Cleaning Manager for our contracts in West Sussex:

The Role:

• Area Cleaning Manager.
• 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday.
• £30,900 per annum plus a company van.
• The area: 3 further education colleges in West Sussex and an office and data centre in Crawley.
• The team: about 40 cleaners and a Site Supervisor on each site.

As one of our Area Cleaning Managers in the West Sussex area, you will ensure the cleaning operations on your sites run smoothly and to budget. Your area will consist of three colleges, Brinsbury, Haywards Heath and Crawley College and an office building in Crawley. You will be responsible for looking after your team of cleaners on the different sites, with a team of between 5 and 15 cleaning colleagues and a site supervisor.

Your role will be to ensure that your team has all the skills and tools they need to thrive in their job to provide clean, hygienic and safe environments for the building users. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and training your team as well as looking after their motivation, wellbeing, and performance. You will also be responsible for ordering stock for each site, carrying out regular site audits and completing timesheets to ensure everyone is paid correctly every month.

You will be working closely with another Area Cleaning Manager and two Site Managers in West Sussex and report into the Service Manager for the area.
