An established industry player is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Butcher to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility. In this role, you will work on the deboning line, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in meat production. At Morrisons we’re proud to produce high quality meat products for our customers, both in store and our external partners. As a Manufacturing Butcher – Skilled in our abattoir, you’ll work on the deboning line removing small bones from primals of fresh meat, working towards the site objective of providing high quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment.
Follow training in food safety to ensure high quality, food safe products are produced for our customers, ensuring health and safety processes are maintained to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. You’ll use a knife or bladed machine to prepare primal for trimming, and will focus on completing tasks efficiently in order to reduce waste and downtime.

Please note that this is an abattoir / slaughterhouse environment and you will be in the presence of raw meat and carcasses, working in a chilled environment of between 2 and 9 degrees. Full personal protective equipment is provided and must be worn at all times.

Our team of 780 colleagues also processes beef and pork for our Farmers Boy team to use in our pies, sausages and cooked meats. Open five days a week, this recently redeveloped facility covers 15,000 square meters on 7.5 acres of land.
