Qualifications

  • Experience in food manufacturing hygiene and cleaning roles is essential.

Job description

This is a Monday-Friday position, working day shifts.

Staffline are keen to speak with experienced Hygiene, cleaning, and caretaker operatives who have worked within the food manufacturing industry.

This is a varied and physical role in a fast-paced environment. Some tasks will be outdoors!

In your new role as a Hygiene Operative:

The role will require you to deliver and demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Operate and maintain effective cleaning schedules.
  • Assist in monthly Internal GMP audits and help to meet site accreditations.
  • Complete relevant hygiene records.
  • Carry out cleaning operations in accordance with hygiene schedules.
  • Report to Team Leader at the start of the shift for any special cleaning instructions.
  • Maintain hygiene equipment in a serviceable condition and report any damage or faults.
  • Complete relevant training when required.
  • Jet washing.
  • Clean and clear debris from communal external and internal areas.
  • Move and lift items as necessary.
  • Liaise with all departments across the site.
  • Deal with and rectify defects raised from site inspections.

To be considered for the role as Hygiene Operative:

  • Food safety qualification (Desirable).
  • Forklift truck Counterbalance licence (Desirable).
  • Experience of maintaining a clean operating environment in a fast-moving Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work to targets.
  • Clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, and pest control, along with familiarity with relevant food legislation (Desirable).
  • Team player.
  • Customer focused.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Working Hours:

Day shifts: 7am-3.30pm / 8am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Salary: £25,000.

40-hour week with 26 days of annual leave.
