The Head Chef of this 4* corporate hotel is seeking a Junior Sous Chef with previous experience, who can strongly support the team in the kitchen. This busy hotel, situated in Nottingham, offers a la carte dining in the restaurant, lighter bites in the terrace bar and lounge, and is also a popular venue for conferences and events catering for in excess of 800 guests across 16 meeting rooms. The hotel prides itself on providing good quality, seasonally changing fresh food prepared and cooked to high standards. You will be working with a large brigade of Chefs, so good leadership skills are also required. This is an exciting role for a Junior Sous Chef who wants to work with an experienced, hands-on, forward-thinking Head Chef.
Requirements:
This role would suit a Junior Sous Chef who has a minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate hotel, looking for a new challenge in their career. It is important that all chefs applying have good all-round cooking skills gained from within hotel kitchens. It is also important that you have experience serving a number of different dining options, and that you are standards driven, hands-on, and can maintain a strong team.
