We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Hoveringham team in the position of Trainee Draughtsperson.

The role holder will provide administrative support to our Drawing Office as well as assist in the design, detailing and scheduling of our precast concrete Hollowcore and stair products.

Your duties would include but not limited to the following:

• Administrative support including printing/distribution of layout drawings, issuing of drawing information to our external draughting team and preparation of Operation and Maintenance manuals.
• Assistance in the production of designs and drawings for our Hollowcore and stair products.
• Assistance in the issuing of production schedules to comply with manufacturing requirements.
• Sourcing of drawing information from our customers.
• Monitoring of delivery dates.
• Continuous improvements of processes and procedures.
• Any other relevant duties as requested by your line Manager.

About You:

• Working knowledge of the building industry.
• Ability to “self-manage” own projects without the need for constant supervision.
• Intermediate experience of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident and outgoing personality.
• GCSE’s in Maths and English.
