Working Hours:
This position requires working every other weekend, ensuring our cafes run smoothly during peak visitor times.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our catering services at the museum. You will play a key role in managing our two cafes, leading a team of staff, and maintaining the highest standards of service and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the cafes.
• Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience and gather feedback.
• Help develop and implement seasonal menus and promotions.
• Assist in financial management, including budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for customer service and a commitment to quality.
