The Role

As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for handling computer hardware, supporting and configuring smart devices, PCs, printers, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the configuration of barcode scanners (e.g., Datalogic, Motorola, Honeywell handheld, Intermec).
2. Support the configuration of barcode printers for Shop Floor and Office (e.g., Zebra, Printronix, Intermec).
3. Support the configuration of any printer (non-barcode) on shop floor and in office like HP.
4. Support the configuration of smart devices such as MX2 / Motion and Dell Tablets for workstations.
5. Support the configuration of PCs (Critical Shop Floor and Office).
6. Coordinate with towers team (AM (MES, SAP), NW, DCH, EUS) for end user related activities.
7. Configure the line side devices, HMIs/MRTs, Dell Tablets/Touch Pads.
8. Log on to plant floor applications, check log files, handle monitoring tools.

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

1. Understanding of hardware and software computer applications.
2. Ability to check and monitor server status and system health, event screening, etc.
3. Knowledge of Windows Server, manufacturing shop floor devices such as printers, barcode scanners, HMIs, MRTs.
4. Knowledge of network and device troubleshooting.
