Job description

Hill McGlynn are pleased to be working with a reputable residential builder to recruit CSCS Shuttering Carpenters for an exciting new build residential project in Hythe, with work expected to run until May 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and reliable individuals to join a well-regarded team on a long-term contract.

Responsibilities
  1. Constructing and dismantling formwork for concrete structures.
  2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
  3. Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber or metal formwork.
  4. Ensuring work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
  5. Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.
  6. Working closely with site supervisors and other trades.
Skills & Experience
  1. Previous experience as a shuttering carpenter in construction is essential.
  2. Valid CSCS card (required).
  3. Ability to work accurately from drawings and plans.
  4. Strong knowledge of formwork systems and concrete structures.
  5. Good level of physical fitness.
  6. Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Role Details
  1. Start Date: Immediate
  2. Location: Hythe

  4. Duration: Until May 2025
  5. Pay: £23 - £25 per hour
