Job description

Locum Oncology Pharmacist required in Oxford to start ASAP, in a renowned private sector hospital!

Location: Oxford
Duration: 2-3 months (with potential extension)
Schedule: 3, 4, or 5 days per week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 2-3 months
Rate of Pay: £37 - £46 per hour via Umbrella

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Locum Oncology Pharmacist and make a significant impact on patient care in a private service setting. In this role, you will:

  1. Provide expert pharmaceutical care for oncology patients
  2. Dispense and supply medications according to oncology treatment protocols
  3. Review and monitor prescriptions to ensure safety and efficacy
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  5. Offer guidance and support to medical staff on pharmaceutical matters in oncology
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all dispensing complies with regulations

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Prior oncology hospital experience
  2. A current and valid HCPC registration
  3. Experience working with oncology patients
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  6. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position with availability for 3, 4, or 5 days per week. The contract is for 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
