Hours and location

The role is full time, permanent and based at Ward in Swadlincote.

40 + hours per week Monday to Friday.

Please note that weekend work and occasional evening work may be required. Overtime will be paid at a higher rate.

Salary

14.00 per hour.

The Role:

We are looking for two experienced Crane Drivers/Plant Operatives to join our busy team at our site in Swadlincote. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Crane Driver/Plant Operative. They will be self motivated, hardworking, team players who are able to work occasional weekends as required.

• Operate crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner
• Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items
• Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
