The Tackling Organised Exploitation Programme (TOEX) provides a national intelligence and analytical support function to local and regional policing across all areas of organised criminal exploitation.
Aligned to this mission is the delivery of technical enablers which are developed and made available to operational police officers and staff, both across the national TOEX network and also to local police forces, via TOEX’s assured Azure environment.
Grant funded to 31 March 2026, this TOEX vacancy represents a unique opportunity to join a cutting-edge programme which is actively delivering a policing first of its kind cloud environment within which TOEX developed applications can be operationally delivered to front line TOEX and other law enforcement users.
If successful, you will be tasked to develop and scale intuitive and secure technical capabilities directly into an Azure environment which will directly benefit the law enforcement community and to ultimately improve public outcomes. You will work with a small yet established technical team who have a proven track record of delivery into UK law enforcement.
If you are new to law enforcement and the world of intelligence, we will ensure that you are given a solid grounding in UK policing; we will walk you through the many systems and tools which we employ to track the activities of organised crime groups.
You will be introduced to the main areas of vulnerability which are the focus of the TOEX programme: Modern Slavery, County Lines, Human Trafficking, Organised Immigration Crime, Child Sexual Abuse and Child Sexual Exploitation.
This is an exciting time as we expand our programme nationally and you will be an integral part of an innovative and ground-breaking collaboration whilst contributing to the disruption of organised crime.
